Chaz is a furniture maker running Imago Furniture, and Elena is a commercial wardrobe stylist. After having our first child, we decided to merge our talents into a brand new company, Doves & Tails.
After becoming parents, we couldn’t help noticing how much children’s furniture felt temporary. Everything we saw felt like it was made to be outgrown, replaced, and forgotten.
This didn’t sit right with us. We believe the pieces meant for the most important people in our lives should be built differently. So we started making them ourselves.
Today we build non-toxic, heirloom-quality furniture designed to live in your home for decades, not just a few years. Our focus is small production, fine furniture constructed with longevity and health in mind. We build pieces that your kids will be proud to pass down. We believe there’s a cleaner, safer way to outfit your homes - especially when it comes to your children.
